where would you suspect the leak be?

hey guys, i got a problem recently when my car gets to its normal operating temperature it missfires like a mother ʞ©$ɟer, but up untill its fully warmed up it runs smooth and responsive good as new, I'm guessing the heat from the manifold is going straight up through the carby therefore its just burning already burnt fuel, if i pull the choke it runs better but still shit, as i said it only does this when hot, when cool/warm it runs overrated. any ideas? thanks

which is exacty the points gap, can you get me a a flik? as i am a newb I'm pretty sure i know what it is, there is an adustable screw that dfetermines the gap between point and the cam that the rotor buton sits in?

its just the cap that is cracked close to the lead terminal things, what do you mean by spark arcing? it is very dirty inside distributor, if i replace coil, leads and cap, will i need to replace/clean anything else

yo rollaforum few questions regarding my missfiring k motor today i noticed i have a crack and some calcium build up inside my dissy cap, from my knowledge, this not good, shoudl i just replace these or is replacing the whole ignition system, i dotn want to modify it or anything i just wanna replace it all, but I'm insure of where to get the exact parts from, are there any part codes or something i can repco that shit up cheers

hey guys just baught new carby, general stock asain 4k bla bla bla, all mounted on etc, but I'm a stupid idiot that didnt take photos before i stripped in a rush because my power may go out very soon very windy n stormy in wa, so anyway i have attached some pics and I'm just after a map or what ever to connect the pipes to these, which ones connect where and such and such i tried to connect them from what i rememberd but it ran like shit and sempt like it wasnt burning air and the exhaust got really hot

any ideas

before i can go any urther i need to get the bastard started and it wont start after i flooded it with carby cleaner

also can any1 tell me what that ting is in the pic above....

well it idles fine,and i usually let it warm to 60 before driving but yeah i could say its worse when its cold,

yes it seems to only do it under load, i always let it warm correctly and my filter is set to winter,ive left it for 2 days now to let fuel and carb cleaner evaporate ill give it a start later on today and see what happens, my carby not tweaked for winter + large gaps in plugs would probly be the case, is it possible that my old battery is having a bad influence on it aswell?

Hey guys, since winter started my 4k ke30 was experiencing hiccups/missfire at low revs, idle is fine but there is no acceleration, wasn't sure if it was the moisture in the air causing a bad mixture or my spark plugs or what, so what i did: - sprayed some carby cleaner ( possibly to much after i sprayed the engine died) - pulled carby apart gave it a good clean blew it out with compressed air replaced float valve which was completely blocked with sh#t still seams flooded at this point, so i adjusted my spark plug gaps from 1mm to 0,8mm and left the plugs out for the excess fuel and carby cleaner to evaporate is there any diagnosis for the problem in the first place and am i on the right track? thatnks for the help also this is a part next to carby, i have no idea what it is and i don't remember seeing it, it doesnt seem to fit anywhere that it can reach <a href="http://tinypic.com?ref=v30nck" target="_blank"><img src="http://i46.tinypic.com/v30nck.jpg" border="0" alt="Image and video hosting by TinyPic"></a>

yo guys, um the day i bought my rolla i managed to lock my wallet in the glove box, = pry it open, i completely broke the lock barrel. just wondering what other people have done with there glove boxes, soon enough i will install a cdplayer in there but at the same time wanna keep it original, can't seem to find a replacement locking barrel maybe I'm looking in the wrong place

yes, well the bloke i baught it off was very ill, he couldnt finish off the work he was going to do on it on a count he could of died any minute so he flogged it to me with some generous free extras

well origanlly, the horn wire was rubbing inside, eventually the horn was stuck on when it ripped through the wire insulation, so i disconnected it, after then it got loose and grindy, at the back of the hub where it is suposed to clamp to

ok, yeah well i am a bit sceptical of buying specific car items off the net, I'm in perth so i guess autobahn here would stock, ill fiddle with it beforehand, thanks guys

ok cheers, how do i tighten it, i have bearly dismantled it to check as i don't wanna make it worse being my only car?

hi guys, The previous owner of my ke30 was extremely fat so he installed a boss detachable steering wheel, the hub is loose and is griding away I'm just after a new kit, not detachable just a hub n wheel but I'm unsure where to purchase the correct replacement hub and possibly wheel...I'm literally lost as to where to get one cheers for help
