  1. Hi Guy's, I know I did not get a reply but in the time since then I have found several things. 1. Australian AE 82s don't have a No 2 EFI relay. (Only Japan US and Europe) 2. Checking the injector signal is nearly impossible unless you have speacilised EFI test equipment. Anyway I fixed the problem by running full fuel pressure (Fuel pump Relay bypass) and signaling each injector several time each using an adapter I made. After doing this the engine now runs very well. It appears that the injectors may have been a little gummed up or sticky. Cheers,
  2. Hi guy's, I'm new here. I have just aqured an old AE82 and fitted a 4age 16v bigport to it. I have changed the whole wiring loom (Engine bay and Dashboard) and fuse boxes (3) and i can only get it to start on thr cold start injector. It starts for about 1-2 seconds then stops. I believe i have tracked the problem down to the No 2 EFI relay. The relay tests and works fine on the bench but, I cannot get power to it thru footwell fusebox. I replaced that fusebox and still no pwer to the relay. Any Ideas???? PS. I have positive battery current at both sides of thr injector plug and no pulsing during cranking.
