  1. Just got the compression test results back. 140 , 145, 145, 150. So I'm guessing it needs the seals done / rebuild as that's pretty low for a smallport!
  2. Just asked him apparently non LSD. :( All good for me though as I'll just be using the engine.
  3. Hey guys, Just wondering if someone with a trained eye could take a look at this and let me know if it looks like a bigport or smallport? Apparently it's a smallport but it was out of an AE92 levin which I thought were only bigports? http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/kings-park/engine-engine-parts-transmission/4agze-corolla-supercharged-engine-conversion-16v-4age-ae92-ae101/1097589439 Thanks
  4. Hey guys recently did a flat front conversion with quadlight setup on my ke70. All went pretty well with a few hiccups of stuff not lining up properly but I was expecting that. But now however the front wheels scrub on the corners of the guards. Has anyone else had this? My car is at the same height with same wheels and it was fine with the slanty guards. The wheels are only 14x6.5 and tyres are 185/65/14 so I wouldn't think they would be an issue, maybe my guards are warped? does it both sides.. one worse than the other though. I've pulled that corner out as much as I can but it just bends in again when the tyre clips it. Any help would be great
  5. Hey guys, I've gone through and read just about every single thread on this topic but couldn't find an answer.. so my question is, I've sourced myself everything I thought I needed for a flat front conversion, meaning: Bonnet R & L front guards Panel between windscreen & bonnet beaver panel bumper headlights & grille (also genuine quadlights & jdm quadlight beaver panel for later on, going to run with original early headlights for now) I read it was a bolt on conversion bar the radiator support which I was going to mod.. so everything else went on smooth but I just wanted to see what other people did for mounting the beaver panel on a slanty.. obviously the bonnet latch on a slanty won't allow me to mount the beaver panel correctly, so I was just wondering if I should hack into the top part of the beaver panel to clear the latch, hack the little mounting hole off the top, or just source a flat front bonnet latch? I've attached some pics to make it easier to see what i'm talking about but yeah, I just want to do this right the first time. First photo is of the original slanty panel.. obviously fits up correctly just don't have it mounted. Now here's the flat front beaver panel when I line up all the holes.. Here's the flat front panel again when I line up just the top hole. Wish someone would have included somewhere that the bonnet latch support was needed too! Guess I'll have to source one up or start hacking away. Any help would be great. Cheers
