The whine just gets louder the faster the wheels are turning. I had some bearings priced up at Lonsdale and for a borg warner diff and for an import. The borg warner bearings are $89 and for the import they are $169.

So getting some fresh bearings is a viable option? Finding labour is easy, just don't know where i'd get some bearings from..

I have a whiney diff in my 38 wagon, is it easy to replace the bearings, or should i get a new diff.. - Where would i get bearings, is it as easy as going to a spare parts store? - How would i pull apart my diff?

Hey, i'm sure it's been posted here somewhere, but i want to hear some of your opinions and pointers on an affordable way to drop my 38 a couple of inches.. :dance:

Thought it was funny that one of the conditions of me buying the car was if i do respray it, it is to be in the same colour as it is now. Love the metallic brown, you have my word!
