  1. I finally got some help from a wheel shop, pending a test fit, 17*7.5 +35 which is usually more suited to a falcon (so i'm told) may be what I am after. Have to see how they fit up front and back.
  2. Thanks for the replies. I have been to quite a few wheel shops and it seems none want to help, just sell what they have. A 7 inch wide wheel is plenty wide. The factory alloys are 6.5 inches wide. The shops I have been to have been useless so thought I would ask you guys. Thanks
  3. Does anyone have any knowledge of the right offset/size wheels to look good and sit even with the guards? My search of wheel and tyre shops keeps leading me to +35 and +45 wheels. it seems a 3 piece wheel may be needed? Any help would be great.
  4. Hi I'm new to the forum and want to learn more about the Corollas. I used to own an AE82 seca with a 4AGZE. Enough intro. I now own my second Corolla and am finding it hard to find wheels that fit properly. Its an 11 model Ascent Sport. I think the PCD is 5 x 114.3. Does anyone know what offset wheels are going to fit to sit flush with the guards? I think if it were 8" wide then a +20 would work but the rear guards sit out further than the fronts by the looks. If anyone has knowledge of what will fit to sit flush front and rear and where to buy then your help would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. The new guy who dug up an old thread. My name is Liam and 28 from the Hawkesbury. I purchased my 2nd Corolla back in Sept 11 brand new. My 1st was a really rough AE82 with a 4AGZE (MAP sensor version). As fun as that car was I am glad I got rid of it. The stock AE82 suspension and brakes were terrible. Anyways back to the new car. It is 11 plated corolla ascent sport and my plans to lower it and get some nice wheels. It is my daily so nothing over the top, just wheels and springs. I have a Nissan Skyline HR31 GTS-X that currently takes the rest of my money. My issue is, where do I find nice wheels that fit? I want them to sit flush with the guards, not outside, if it can be helped. Looking for something like an Enkei or OZ Racing 9 spoke in a 16 preferabally or 17 if I have to. I'll have a look through the forum and see what I can find myself but any info would be great if you have one or have knowledge of this model Corolla and know what width and offset would suit my wants. It also looks like I will need a staggered offset to make the rears sit the as the fronts, flush to the guard. Thanks Liam
