The green on the rims look good!

I'm a cop and wouldn't mess with your ride:). I did pull over a dodge station wagon, cause it painted aqua blue and pink with pink rims and blue lights. We just wanted to tell him how he ruined the car and wrote him a ticket for the lights in his rims.

I'm just showing you black would look good with green accents. Don't paint your rims green or put green pin strips.

It's the air suction system. That white thing is the filter and valve. It uses exhaust pulses to pull air into exhaust ports 1 and 4 for mine. Allows combustion to continue, reducing unburned hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide. Yes I got it from the manual. A very old manual.

Motor works fine as it sits. I'm just going to clean it up change all the fluids, replace plugs, wires, cap, air filter, and get a optima battery. I bought a 3tc, which is being torn down and rebuilt. Theres two built heads for it already. Motor will have dual carbs. The car will be meant for daily use. I want to restore the car, but I want to drive it. Not locked up in storage.

The 13x8 are supra replicas with 205/60/13 tires. The 13x 5.5 are oem with 175/70/13 tires.

They are the baby supra wheels. I was suppose to get them repaired and powder coated jet black, but it cost 100 bucks a rim, so I bought a 3tc motor instead and will redo rims next summer.

A buddy of mine has a paint shop. He paints taxis as his bread and butter job. I don't think the car is painted Toyota super white. I think it's taxi super white. Can't beat a 400 dollar paint job with good paint.

More pics to come soon. Right now I just got the car street ready. Bumpers will stay off. I got a great working 3k, but no power, so the lighter the better. I got a Puerto Rican buddy working on the 3tc complete with trans for 300 bucks. It will be a mild build for daily driving, but it will be built right. Until then the 3k is fun. It's funny I power washed the motor and the car ran smoother and faster?

I bought the Rolla from a family, who left their parent's car in the garage of an estate for years. Car had great interior, body in decent shape, and minimal rust, aside from the battery leaking acid onto metal. Corolla came with a 3kc 4 speed, which had 25,000 miles. I was suspicious of that, until I cleaned the jets on the rebuilt carb the car already had. Car runs like it just came out of the dealership new! Born and raised in Hawaii. I live in Virginia beach now. Ever since I bought the car I been on rolla forum and google. Sad to say I'm pretty sure I have the 3k motor with 4 speed tranny, but it will do for now. I need to research more on what motor I want in the future. I just want to cruise with it. No drifting. No quarter mile, just want it to run dependably, look good, and enjoy it. I can't wait to get it back, but I won't rush technician, if all he wants is to make sure the car runs in primo condition.

The car has been parked in their garage for 4 years and 2 years at a family friend's shop. The shop is getting the car in road worthy condition, since it's been sleeping for 6 years in a garage. The gas in the tank probably turned into water? Car starts, it has 25,101 on the odometer, interior is in great condition, and no cancer. There is surface rust, but very slight and white paint is faded. I paid $800.00 for the car. The car will get painted, as soon as it gets out of the shop, but i will get pics first.

I'm a noob! Just bought a 78 2dr rolla with 25,000 miles on it. No rust! I figure I drive the car with the existing motor for a while and start by lowering and adding new wheels. I just acquired 14" celica/supra wheels. What wheels and tire size do you have on your ride? pics would be great, even if I haven't posted any pics on my car yet.
