  1. 999 automotive but they is carnts. Didn't get them here in time for rwc
  2. I can't be bothered with modified cars anymore I'm too old for that shit. Anyone want to buy this beast or swap their hiace for it pm me.
  3. I think I will be bringing my ke70 along. Does anyone have any spare shank wheel nuts to suit ma61's & ke70 alloys? Need them to keep my RWC guy happy on wednesday.
  4. Okay so I got the list from the mechanic doing the RWC and it says: Front Blinker lenses cracked (Ordered) Lefthand rear taillight cracked (Ordered) reverse light is left hand rear not working windscreen chipped (booked in) front brake hoses cracked rear swaybar bushes (are fooked halp) rear drum shoes fitted incorrectly (haha my bad) (will fix tomorrow) Incorrect wheel nuts for alloy wheels
  5. I would shave the head a little and get a trd head gasket. Twin Webers are about $400 2nd hand, a manifold to suit is $220. Then you can change how much fuel your engine is getting quite easily. A brand new set of webers manifold and jets installed to suit is $1499. Ecu $100 Loom $100 Intake $150 Efi fuel pump $100 surge tank $50. If you want to change how much fuel the engine is getting you need to purchase an aftermarket ecu and pay someone to tune it $1500+ EFI is not the cheapest due to the ever increasing flat cap tax.
  6. I think carbed 4age is the cheapest and easiest way to go unless someone can prove otherwise. Considering rasing the compression ratio of the bigport to be the same as a small port and 272 cams, lightend flywheel and twin side draft carbs. Would this be a good value for money perfromance package?
  7. Well then sounds like 4age is a popular conversion for a reason. Was considering worked 4k or 3tc. So far I have been able to find flat cap tax free parts hopefully I can find some more. Ive been to a couple of car, coffee and donuts meets so far in my hyundai excel and I joined tccav. The rolla is booked in for RWC next wednesday I hope the mechanic doesn't find any expensive repairs that need to be done.
  8. No for $200 I can get a rwd bigport but all the parts needed fo the conversion add up quickly.
  9. I don't know if i want to fork out the $1500 it will cost to get a 4age to put in this. Is it really worth while?
  10. There was a little bit of rust above the tail lights and I got it cheap off ebay. It has had 2 owners in one family. There is a log book from 1984 of every trip taken and how many liters of fuel used. The first modification I did to it was upgradeing the noodle rear swaybar to a 20mm adjustable whiteline. Then last night i finished installing rack mount bushes, front sway bar bushes, swaybar link bushes, rack ends and extra lock spacer. Trying to get everything sorted in time for the next drift matsuri.
  11. Hey my name is Kenny I'm from brisbane but moved to melbourne about a year ago. I thought I would post up my rolla that I got about 3 months ago have slowly been getting her ready for RWC. The 4K while being nice and clean is blowing alot of smoke under power. Can't wait to get something more powerfull under the hood. I want to build this car up as being a ae86 in granpas cardigan. So as you expect it has a 4age on the way. I also have a shed load of parts waiting to go in once I have passed the road worthy certificate. Like these Hopeing to use the experience and advice of others on this site too get a good understanding of what not to do.
