I'm vary interested in how oke020 managed to fit his 253 into his KE20 with out any mods, we are in the stages of doing this same coversion, unless u remove the sump or cross member, wich we know just wouldnt work haha, the only way around it is to mod fire wall,

this thread was a great read, answered a few questions i had as well, we currently in the first stages of putting a 253 in a KE20, getting done by Wilson brothers racing, the car is getting built for a burnout comp car, ill keep use up to date in our progress :)

WTB: ke20 corolla bonnet and front bar (QLD)

hi all I'm only new to the corolla scene so don't know to much about them, just picked a ke20 2 door coupe, going to be a little project, only prob is the bonnet needs replacing, i have called all local wreakers but still can't find a bonnet anywere, can someone point me in the right direction, I'm on the goldcoast, all will another model or year corolla bonnet fit on it, I'm willing to swap a 5k motor for a good condition bonnet
