its a AFM and do u know how much is a knock sensor is its $250!! um but doesnt knock sensor ONLY effect the engine when it runs over 4grand>>?? oh and do u have MSN? Um o2 sensor is perfect match and not sure what else help,.....

WTF?? ne way i did a home diag tes (paperclip) got code 52 (knock sensor) took it to toyota got code 21 & 25 (o2 sensor) no code 52 so went with toyota and changed the 02 sensor (made SFA difference) so i wasted like $50 on one (mates rates at repco, down from $110) LOL So now u all rekon new knock sensor, i was thinkin that as the one on my car has been glued back 2gether where plastic joins the metal :ninja: So my mate rekons leads and plugs as the car runs OK over 4grand but shit under 4grand?? Any help would be awesome plz guys pauly

well ive fixed the starter prob (hammer :ninja: ) i have changed the 02 sensor, still no difference!!!!! please guys try and help me as I'm gettin very shitty LOL pauly

guess what ive done a diag test (trust paper clip) and its said code 52 (knock sensor) so on my inspection of the knock sensor ITS @#$%ING GLUED 2GETHER!!! %$#@ sellin it said it was a o2 sensor not knock sensor! well ne way I'm lookin for a 4agze, 4age 20v (i think) or any 4amotor knock sensor as i don't really wanta pay $250 from toyota! ne way plz help pauly

ive booked it in on thursday fora diagnostic test hopefull toyota will find the problem ($40 for test)

hi all i recently purchased a 1989 corolla seca witha 4agze (advertised on this site). now its had all the gear (supercharger, brakes, box,LSD etc) now as he was driving to our place of trade he said that a rock hit the O2 sensor or sumthing, and now it runs crapply, like it runs and stuff but it uses a shit load of fuel, halfa a tank to go 110kms, and has hardly ne power at all!!! so is it the o2 sensor or something else??
