any suggestions of a supplier for a rear sway bar guys

let me correct a miss print they are in my KE30, The inserts used are koni i dint know the modle as i bought the complete unit. i did a bit of research first and this is what i found, i didnt want the usual RX7 or Corrona conversions. Two web sites Hoppers Stoppers and Otomoto have the parts required to build a similar result. Hoppers do a kit for KE70 that uses au falcon disk and calipers, but you need 15inch wheels to clear the calipers. 15 inch wheels will hit the standard coil springs so you need the smaller dia coilovers for clearence. Otomoto have weld on coilover kits and camberkits,the coil over kit is dependent on the external diameter of the strut being modified, 45mm for ke30mm and 48 for ke70. the internal gas strut insert is dependent on the internal dameter of the old strut, also the length can be chosen to suit the final ride height. have a look around parts for Toyota MR2 for about the right dia and lenght. Yes BLZBub is right the standard spindle remains a weak point so before you spend the dollars and time have you old strut spindles crack tested so you know all is ok. Considering all the above i chose a complete unit from Mad Dat, it was their fisrt toyota strut but they have been doing similar for 1200 datos. good luck and keep us posted if you go ahead.

Hi all, thought you may be interested in these coil over front struts, made from KE 70 struts, coil overs welded on , adjustable gas strut insters , adjustable camber tops, custom alli hub, big brakes, you need 15inch wheels to clear the calipers, Mad Dat in SA made them. KE 30 and KE 70 struts are interchangable so these straigh bolt in to my KE 70 no mods required.
