I'm running 13x7 wheels with +3 offset on my 1971 KE20 and have no issues with fit. Tires are 185/60/13.

Anyone know which engines will fit directly in my KE20 with a 3KC motor now without modifications to the mounting locations? Will a 4AGE fit? I know most of the Honda motors are interchangable amongst the different models as thay all have identical mounting locations and wanted to know if my Corolla might be that way too. I want to do a motor swap without custom fabrication. I am in Los Angeles so something that was also available in US spec cars so I can find it here. Thank you.

you can buy the dash (safety pad) new from toyota still
It's just that fitting them is a monster job as you have to pull almost all of the dash out to get to all the bolts and screws
Trying to get a part for my car from Toyota here is like calling them and asking for a BMW part. They have no idea what my car is. Anyone have a part number for the dash pad?

The cracked dash is a good indicator that this car spent all its life in Southern California. With minimal rain and over 300 days a year of sunshine we don't have any rust problems but cracked dasher are a must. ;)

Hi,
Your car is looking so sweet, especially now with the ROH wheels. Now it really has an "Aussie" connection. I am just so envious.
It would be so cool to own a Rolla in Australia with LH drive & cruise around. I once drove a hire car in the USA, and the LHD experience was one I'll never forget. (neither did the other US drivers who shared the roads with me that week)
The ROH wheels were very big here in Australia, & we refer to them as Hot Wires. They are still popular.
Here is a company in Oz specialising in them.

Keep us up to date with your progress with your KE20. We are "luvin" it.
Would love to see some photos of the interior of your stock US KE20, to see if it was very different to our KE20s out here.
Cheers Banjo
The interior has Recaro seats and the center console from the VW GTI I think. The dash pad is cracked and lifted but besides that everything else is in pretty good condition.

Thank you for the link. There seems to be bits of information here and there but I have yet to find a thread that can offer exact information including measurements of the blocks, pin size and correct hubs for a 4x114 conversion. I was hoping someone that had done these modifications can give me exact materials and the correct materials needed.

Can anyone tell me where to source the correct lowering blocks for my car? A website or maybe a link to a website? I checked Ebay Australia but nothing for the KE20.

The car has a 3KC motor and is a 4-speed manual. I have also added a few more photos to the original post.

Thank you for the kind words. The car is a Southern California car so it is basically rust free. Only minimal surface rust in the spare tire area but I sanded that off and painted it. I look forward to learning from the forum members here as there are only a few of these Ke20 Corollas here in the US and not much interest in them in the local forums.

Hello all. I recently bought a 1971 KE20 Corolla 2-door sedan and need help on a few items. I am a novice at this so I would appreciate detailed responses with possibly photos if available. First, I want to lower my car and need to know what size lowering block you guys use, dimensions of the block, what is the size of the pin but also the length and width of the U-bolts. I want to lower the car between 30mm to 40mm. The front springs I want to cut as I am in Los Angeles and there are no part suppliers for these cars and to order from overseas will be very expensive. How much does cutting one coil lower the car? My second issue is it is very difficult to find 4x110pcd wheels. Are there any axles or front hubs that have a 4x114.3 bolt pattern that are a direct replacement? I think 1972 and later used the 4x114,3 but I may be wrong. I would appreciate solid advice from people who have experience rather than people just stating their opinion without knowing for sure. Thank you in advance.

The 3 on the bottom are Datsun 120Y (middle 1 is Sedan(RH), 2 others are 120Y Hatch). There are 3 down the right side with chrome surround reflector in the middle, they are Late RT40 Corona. Top right corner is Early RT40 Corona. Above the 120Y Sedan Is RT80/81 Corona, above it is KE30 Corolla Sedan(LH), above that is Late KE25 Corolla Coupe(LH), to it's left is RT118 Corona Sedan(RH).........Most of the left row are Mazda, i'm not 100% sure which model though
That should help a bit I hope
Thank you very much for all the info. You have answered for most of what I have listed.

I purchased a large lot of tail lights for which I was told many are Toyota. Can anyone help me identify them? I want to put them all up for sale but need to know what they are first. Thank you in advance.

There are no manufacturer markings. Any ideas?
