I had a quick google and wiki says the starfires came out with a Borg Warner 505....so no idea still if that will bolt up

Yeah she needs some love, this is how i got it. Funny thing is about 1-2 months ago it was brought off a little old lady. Owner before me chopped the springs, exended the control arms and crashed it. Now I'm fixing the mess.

Since no one has replied on my post asking about it. Does anyone here know if the 2s-c will bolt up to the Starfire Gearbox?

Brought it like it...well swapped a Vn wagon for it anyway. Il ive done since owning it for the past 5 days is replace the steering rack and make the exhaust fall off.

This is my dirty Rona, in the middle of trying to find a manual conversion for it....yes its auto haha

Hey guys and Girls, I'm new to Rollaclub, and yes i own a Corona and not a Corolla. I'm Nathan, but literally everyone calls me 'Socks', Live in a small town in tassie, and work out of the shed in my back yard. Never owned a corona before bar a skid bus years ago, couldnt sell my Commy wagon, so i swapped it for this. 1984 ST141 Dirty Auto Pig Corona, Interiors in pretty good nic but as you can see, bodys a bit worse for ware, also...auto. No major mods atm, just extended control arms, big wheels with stretchys and previous owner chopped the springs. Future mods are basically, make it look less shitty, work out what springs/shocks to run, find twin headlight setup to fit, fit a proper exhaust and make her manual. Nowwww, the main question. I want to make it manual, i can get hold of a complete XT130 with the Starfire motor for about $100, i really don't want to convert the Rona to a starfire as i think theyre a horrible motor....sooo, will the manual gearbox and pedal box out of the 130 bolt up to the 2s-c? If not, what other boxes will? Cheers guys for any help/advice
