  2. turning off light square into a street which connect to goodwood road in Colonel light gardens. its a slut
  3. yeh was pissing down. I know first a truck driver hits me and doesnt reply our calls or messages an now a fukn huge gutter gets in my way! Maybe i should just send the beast to the track. haha. nah been quoted like $300 to fix with a wheel allignment so might take the easy option. we'll see what my mechanic says
  4. Trying to drift. haha. mate if i was trying to drift i wouldn hav crashed. but seriously was pure understeer near fazz's place. and i mean pure understeer. any attempt at drifting woulda sent the back into a pole/tree. Thanks for your two cents though :jamie:
  5. haha i think ill pass on the fwd :) . But i might need your help if it comes down to it. haha
  6. ah k. sweet.sorry I'm not good with the names of things. haha. I'm guessing i want it to be the lower control arm and not the engine crossmember mounting point as the lower control arm seems to be an easy fix.
  7. Yeh do i have to commit to a place after i get them to have a look? cause if i don't ill just get em to tell me what it is. i know that the upward little connector rod (no idea what its called, is right in the middle of the picture at the bottom of the spring) is bent forwards which doesnt make sense as the wheel sits further back in the guard. If its got anything to do with the bushes i might ask some details from ya felix. Thanks for all your help
  8. ok so i took both wheels off, had 4 mates have a look and still we have no idea what it could be. I am gonna take it to a mechanic tomorro just to get a quote and find out the problem then decide on the future. i have taken some photos of the damaged and undamaged side. If anyone can spot the difference please by all means let me know. This is the damaged side This is the undamaged side I know its not easy but anythin u can see. Cheeeeers
  9. haha its the best :) Is there any other sh*# which needs replacing if its just the wishbone or would it all fit back into place?
  10. Bout 20-25 k's if that Just been told this corner has claimed a few others :)
  11. Pretty much on the way home from work in my gemmy i turned right on an "infamous" slippery corner of which i had no idea about, got massive understeer, locked up and the front left wheel hit a curb which for some reason was like 15 centimetres high. anyway it put mad scratches on my rim and now my car pulls severely to the left and when turning left the wheel rubbs on the back of the guard. the impact seems to have pushed the wheel back abit into the guard and further towards the back of the car. has anyone else had an accident in the same situation and what damage did the car sustain. Could it just be that the lower control arm has been bent? please reply with some good news as i fair don't want to have to spend too much on fixing this thing. Cheers Beau :)
  12. I had a 4a-c and it was fairly lame. id say just save up for when u can afford to buy/run a decent car which is actually fun to drive and worth the effort. Only good point bout a ae71 is there isn't too bigger loss when you crash it. Why do all the eastern states have all these p plate rules? Here in SA a learner can drive a GTR no worries. why ban extractors on a 1.6 litre. haha. stupid
  13. Yeh i looked at them closer. There is no air being pushed into the horns. It just clicks over. Is it possible to get them "re-gassed" or whatever. Maybe an electrical fault. Who would know how to fix this shit. Auto electrician??
