my photographer friend took some decent pics of it today. also had the back lowered some more :hmm:

got the crown lowered the other day......also put trim back on front and rear bumpers....heres the pics

just some updates for those interested in the crown...finally got it registered the other day then took it straight home and put the 20s back on :) ....need to get some spacers for the wheels though because at the moment they are rubbing on the chassis on the inside of the tyres. getting branigans to measure it up and put the spacers on and lower it at the same time, should be done by next week some time. got the rear muffler removed and replaced with straight pipe with twin angle cut tips, just to give it a bit of a note. still hav to work out what to do with the missing trim...I'm keen to get chrome strips on the bumpers and along the sides rather than black rubber but just need to find a place that will do it.

paid 750 for the crown. no hydros or anything at this stage.....its not registered yet so gota wait til i get it roadworthied....the wheels are scrubbing already tho.

i paid 1350 for the coupe....guy that was moving interstate. here's the latest pic of the crown....havent put most of the trim bak on yet

yeah comes with fridge in parcel shelf....good enough for about 4 stubbies i reckon...altho the bar fridge is a good idea haha.

not doing any engine mods to the crown....unless it blows up and then ill consider my engine swap options. its more of a slow cruiser type of thing for me....ive retrimmed some of the interior in plush purple material......heres a pic of the retrimmed parcel shelf with new speakers. the bit in the middle is the lid for the fridge/cooler box and the other vent is for the air purifier or some garbage haha. ive retrimmed the tops of the doors in the same material and put some nice pimpstyle chrome dice doorlocks haha.

i have a 1981 toyota crown ms112 (the one with the twin headlights) that I'm working on at the moment....thats what the 20's are going on. i'm doing it up lowrider style because they are very similar to a 1980's cadillac seville. i don't really have any plans for the corolla because i think its worth more in the long run if it's untouched....its kind of my daily driver while i work on the crown. this is the 20's on the crown.....and as u can see I'm in the process of preparing the crown to be resprayed etc. cheers, thanks for the comments....

yeah she's pretty straight...all paint seems original and all the gaps line up except boot lid which i think is just an adjustment to make it line up. i found a tiny bit of rust near left door hinge inside the door, which i saturated in that rustkill stuff....apart from that there's none at all. i guess it must of been sitting in someones shed for a while because it only has 75 cliks on it.

ok so these 20's are for my other car....but thought this looked pretty interesting when i put them beside the corolla tonight haha.

hi folks I'm a new member. just picked up this corolla last week. it has only got 75,000klms on it....not sure if thats genuine but judging by the interior it seems like it's been looked after. i bought it as a car for my gf to drive but i don't want to let her drive it now as I'm scared she will ding it. all of the paint seems original too so i don't think its been in any major accidents.
