Should be fun wiring the ecu, at least my aftermarket ecu was labeled..
These ones should also be labelled,.. On the inside of the ECU that is. Take off the cover and you can see the connector layout printed on the PCB.

Hi,
I'm the same guy who had sold that ECU on aeu86.net.
I do have a scan of the manul for who is interrested, just PM me you email adress.
It should also be suitable for the 3S-GE engine accoring to the ECU setting table.

Any chance the car has power windows? I'm still looking for the door wiring from the seca model with power windows. (all 4 doors)

Yeah. It is at a town called Potchefstroom in South Africa. There was a parking lot near a rugby field and we decided to take the rolla for a spin over there. Too bad I'm back in Europe and had to sell the TE71.

Hello, first let me introduce myself.
I'm Peter and I live in the Netherlands. I own 2 EA92's and have owned a TE71 during my traineeship in South Africa.
I'm a member of the dutch corolla club (They also have a forum for you who can read dutch: www.corollaforum.nl)
I have attached some pics of my (ex-)rides.
Unfortunally, the 4a-ge engine is not that common in the corolla's over here. we basicly stick with the 4a-fe. Although I have some early plans for a swap with a gze or a silvertop.
Came acros this site while strolling the internet for some parts for the seca. It seems you have 2 types of grilles for this car isn't it? the 3-bar type (just as in europe) and another. more open type. Anyone here knows these grilles are interchangable?
Hope you like the pics!

Don't know about the ARC airbox. The ECU adjusts fuel according to sensored air (in closed loop mode) so unless it becomes a restriction I don't think bigger is better.
Does your airbox has the AFM sensor installed to it as well?
