  1. G'day all, I have a 2 door ke30 and I have wanted to fit a tachometer to it just to get an idea on revs I'm doing at certain speeds, I also purchased an oil pressure guage and a water temperature guage to fit as well, now is there any way to use the original oil pressure light sender or the water temp sender, as I quickly just fiddled with the water temp guage under the bonnet the guage quickly went over 100 degrees assuming that you cannot match the original sender with aftermarket guages. Can variable resistors be fitted as a solution or have to fit my aftermarket senders and ditch the originals?
  2. so from what your saying and what I have, if I find a speedo gear with more than 19 teeth, it should slow down my speedo which is what I need. Anybody know if speedo gears have mire then 19 teeth or if its different internally. Cheers
  3. Gday, I have a 1975 2 door ke30, it has a 3k-h and had a k40 which I only just swapped over for a k50, now this gearbox has made my speedo out. Any suggestions on the best way to solve this problem as its turning over quicker and will be racking up more k's then what I am really doing. Any help is appreciated cheers.
  4. So I go to the wreckers who say they have a ke38 wagon which turns out to be a ke70, still a borgy now just unsure whether it will fit are these borgys the same dimensions?
  5. Okay, so the tailshaft off the wagon will be the same length as the one in my 2 door? Because the borgy from the wagon is $220 and closer to me then a banjo thats $300. So tailshaft and borgy diff I wont have trouble with shocks/brakes/leafs? Thanks for the reply.
  6. Hey guys, I have had a 2 door ke30 for about a year now, we bought it for $100 sat it out at our farm for about six months before I decided to put it on the road, so we spent about $300 in parts and the old rolla was roadworthy so its been on the road for a few months now and the little jap banjo diff has blown up, I have read a few threads about other diffs and what not but I can get my hands on a diff out of a ke55 wagon, rear loader so I assumed borgy. What exactly would need to be done for that diff to fit? Will I need to just change the flange on the driveshaft or will the length beed to be changed as well? Or I can get a diff out of a 1981 corona, anybody know if that will fit or whats needed to make it fit? Cheers in advance, Justin.
