  1. Alright, finally back on the project car after it sitting at a friends for awhile. I was looking at the original KE wiring harness and i think i lost some of it through all the moves. So I'm in need of a wiring harness if anyone has got one. Also, a few of the clips from the KE wiring harness don't fit parts of the 3TC such as starter motor, distributor, and alternator. Would it be easier just to source a TE wiring harness?
  2. swapping a 3tc with small starter and scattershield into my 1977 ke30. been told a few different things in regards to transmission and how they will mount. mainly wondering if theres a difference between say a t50 from a 1980 corolla or a t50 from a 1985 corolla? shifter locations all the same? will my ke30 tailshaft bolt to either? money isnt so much a problem neither is time. just a project car to keep me busy. thanks a lot in advance!

  4. so for a radiator can i just go get a radiator from an 80's 1.8L corolla?
  5. can anybody tell me if any parts are interchangeable between 3tc and 3kc? i.e. alternator, distributor,starter
  6. this might be a dumb question but what years are the te31,37,38. are the t and k just to tell you what motor came in it? like a te31 is a e31 chassis with a t series? having a hard time finding the crossmembers and just want to make sure I'm searching for the correct thing.

  9. swapping 3tc into a ke30 chassis that originally had a 3kc. wondering if someone could give me a parts list or an idea of what ill be needing.
  10. sorry to change subject but do you literally mean sealing the k motors are hard? cause i bought mine just covered in oil (previous owner did little to none upkeep, cleaning) just wondering if its normal for them to leak that much oil
  11. well I'm saving to put a 3tc into so I'm trying to hold off on putting too much more money into the 3kc. ill look check around for some cheap carbs though.
  12. Hey guys, i have a 3kc that likes to die on me when i come to stops. it originally started out only when stopping from high speeds. So i replaced spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil, and alternator. even after all that the problem eventually evolved into whenever i come to a stop no matter the speed. had a mechanic look at it and he said the carb needed to be rebuilt, so i did that. only other thing i can think of is vaccuum leak or maybe warped carb mount? Figured id get some opinions from guys who know alot about these particular motors. all and any ideas greatly appreciated!!
