  1. so if I were to pick up a Hilux axle for it what size diff housing should the axle be to swap a good aftermarket 1.5 way LSD? I don't want to get something too big and HD for a drift/daily car
  2. Preferably online as I live in New Zealand so I don't know if you guys know any places here, also where can I pick up a 81 supra rear end?
  3. Okay to do you guys know where I can pick up a "7 rib 4age" or what to look at to know the difference?
  4. So from my research so far I'm thinking of custom fitting a another axle maybe from a ae86 or supra with a kaaz diff probably 1.5 way and dual caliper big brake kit possibly gtr r32 or wilwood still researching brakes. I'm wondering what the advantages of s13 front steering and suspension set up would be taking into account the 4age being in there but I may be keen on an sr20det swap later on in its life.
  5. Also anyone know where I can get a set of dual front headlights to swap out my standard rectangular ones?
  6. I would be going for a turbo with a 4age with worked internals. what would be the best 4age to source for the best performance gains for drift capibilities and then what diff would take that torque from a 5 speed supra gearbox with a aftermarket drive train? also would my stock axle be safe enough to put a lot of stress on going side ways and such? I would be looking for a after market big brake kit so looking into a rear axle might be better for the after market parts available. Thoughts?
  7. I'm wanting dual caliper disc brakes on the rear so I'm wondering if it would be better to find a whole new rear axle for it with a lsd and (like what would be the difficulty in say like a ae86/corona axle swap into a ae70 be) swap that in I'm pre keen on finding a 5 speed supra gearbox to fit to the 4age for the strong 5 gears and coil overs front and rear with a drift suspension set up camber/toe/stinger control arms the whole 9 yards i and I'm wanting around 200+hp atw from the 4age the all being over the next 6 years while I do my apprenticeship. Always thought a 80s Toyota would be a great first car to learn and build up my experience so any suggestions/links to parts pages or things you've done to your own rollas would be greatly appreciated thanks guys.
  8. So could I swap my s series diff for a t series lsd?
  9. And what's the problem with s series diffs and why it's t series better also could I fit a new rear axle with a t series diff of another goog diff
  10. Here's the plates in the engine bay I think it an a s series one though
  11. Sorry I'm not a Toyota expert so I brought this hoping to learn more so I'm not sure what those diff look like so could you tell me what one this one is?
  12. And if it doesn't have a Borg-warner diff?
  13. What you you guys recommend as a drift suspension setup?
  14. Hey thanks that's a good point to think about if it saves me money here's some pic of my new baby haha
  15. Hey so I've recently brought a 1982 1.5L ae70 se corolla and I'm planning to build it up over the next few years so I was just wondering what suggestions you guys had in relation to building it into a drift/daily driver car? It's running a 3-AU engine I'm thinking of sourcing a 5k just for the 5th gear in the transmission and just having that in there while I do suspension and brake modifications before looking for more power maybe from a turbo 4age? So what suspension setup would yous recommend also should I look into a whole new rear axle or just a diff and disc brakes on the rear? So any suggestions would be helpful and also links to parts website where I can find good parts for it.
