Time: 10:30am Meet for 11:00am Departure Destination: Gumeracha Federation Park Electric BBQ's onsite, play equipment for the kids, plenty of shade. BBQ Arrangement is BYO food. Route: TBA on the day - Will be fun though ;) Date: Sat 15th Oct 2011 - Andrew
  3. lol the headlights are the worst part on it, held in place with electrical tape and don't have any surrounds :rocknroll: It's paddock spec condition wise imo but still road registerable and was on the road till it ran outta rego hehe.
  4. lol, admittedly it was one of the "quicker" style of cruises but its a Jordy cruise so you have to expect these things :o Maybe we should have a 2 groups setup for next time, one goes up at a "casual" pace and the other at a "quicker" pace. That and make sure everyone knows where we're headed next time :(
  5. Just got back from work, cruise was good :P, unfortunately though it ended up being just the 4 of us for most of it... I think I saw 2-3 KE70/AE71's fly past cold store rd and head into Lobethal? Other than that not sure where everyone else ended up. The AW11 had a good run though and plenty of what 6-8000 rpm action hehe. Fuel econ aint looking so good for this tank for some reason :), i'm willing to bet Jordys was worse though... certainly wasn't running lean now was it :lolcry:
  6. Just a reminder that this is on THIS Saturday if there is any interest feel free to come down ;) Edit: A discount of $5 (making it a total of $35 for non members) will be given if you register your interest in the way specified in the "toyota vs nissan dyno day" post at toyotacarclub.net before the day.
  7. The first, annual Toyota VS Nissan Dyno competition. At 10AM the first car will roll onto the dyno. The first make will be determined by a coin flip. A Toyota will run the dyno, then a Nissan, then a Toyota, then a Nissan etc until all cars have run. If 1 make runs out of car, the other make can continue to run cars till the 5:00 cut off. The total will be cumalative, with the highest run counting per car. 2 runs will not be counted. Cars will only be 'spun up' once per run. Entry is $40 for all makes, however there is a $10 discount for financial ToyotaCarClub.net members. (memberships will be taken on the day) So, which is better? Toyota or Nissan?
