  1. Looks like i can get a T series from a Celica for 1000$ in "good" condition, (or another one for $300 that looks flogged and covered in rust) what else would i need to make it fit?? I'm assuming my tail shaft plate wont line up from what I've read, but will the brakes need much tomfoolery to get working? And yeah, I will probably be rebuilding whatever i buy anyway, but I just can't justify throwing money at an S series. Thanks for your reply!
  2. Hey people, i am looking for advice on what to do with my ae71 that has been converted to the dreaded S-series Ae86 differential (for reasons beyond me). The diff is currently sounding like a helicopter is taking off from my back seat, and i have been quoted around $900AUD to get it refreshed with new pinion and carrier bearings. However, I'm wondering if its worth refreshing the S-series diff or just spending the money on putting a T-series/ standard Borg Warner/ other options into it as i intend to do some occasional wetpans and potential drift events in the future. Any advice would be appreciated!
