  1. 1984 Corolla 1600gl Sw - Gas Problem

    this is my 1st post here, so don't start to roast me right away :y: the above sw has been mine for about 900,000km (speedo cable broke about ten years ago) - only replaced water pump once. but now she needs serious attention. especially in the gas department. she smells of the stuff and floods easily (especially turning sharp right downhill - the 2T will just stop turning). i cleaned the float chamber (weber) and reset the float, that seemed to help for about three days... any fundis here with an idea what should be done - apart from replacing her, obviously. greetings from south africa gg
