Soon to be another work of art courtesy of Troy :D I'll be watching this project closely! Glad something this tidy fell into the hands of an enthusiast. It will be done justice by the current god of style :)

Is your 25 on the road Tally? I should've pm'd you. Sorry matey.
-
Spotted about 12 beautiful ke10#-ke2#s today in the Harbourtown carpark. What a beautiful sight. Loved meeting more enthusiasts and catching up with old friends. What a perfect evening for cruising!
-
What a sexy pair of ke2#s!! I love the bonnet on the 25. Does anyone know where I can get a scoop like that? It looks mean. Silver is a choice colour too. Few beautiful 25s getting around now. I can't wait to see how it looks after the panelbeaters and with new wheels!
-
Wow! $400 was a bargain. Good to see you're tidying her up yourself. Will look forward to seeing how she turns out.

spotted queen20v's ke25 yesterday near bridge road, got some pretty bad rear quarter damage, i actually double took cos i was like wtf nooo!
:D gotta fix my baby... Metal finish too. No bog!!
I spotted the sexiest 25 on the Golden Way. Orange with a black bonnet and no grill. WHO WAS THAT??

Love this wagon. Looks fantastic and I bet she's a whole heap of fun too. :D
-
Totally love this Scott. Good to know she's found a great home. Will look forward to seeing you around at a cruise sometime soon I hope

Sucks that you're baby's sick. One of my twenties did the exact same thing. You gotta love how predictable they are... And how easy to fix! It only took us half a day :y: Hope she's all better real soon.
-
Cool. Whereabouts are you located. I used to have one of these. They're fantastic. I miss mine everyday. My mate from Tasmania bought her. Are you a member of ae82ownersclub? The guys on there are great. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
-
Thank you all. Ended up using a friend's RAA membership. The guy got it unlocked and then proceeded to eagerly open my door onto the brick wall. Now I have a chipped door. Ohhhh FML!! Honestly though, I'm just glad to have it open :y:
-
As the topic states, I'm after a diagram just to help me unlock the door with a coat hanger. If I didn't have bloody solex locks I'd bust in with another ke key. Thanks in advance for any help.

Sexxx on wheels!! What a hot 26. It's sure got me all hot and bothered :) nice work.
-
Mmmmm I'm so excited. They're Delta Compomotives 13x8, 4x110 (obviously), -15 offset. :y: woot!
-
Your 20 is looking pure awesome. Exactly how a retro should look. I love it. When are we all cruising??

I got hit about 2 weeks ago :hmm: but on the upside, there was no creasing or cracking of paint so hopefully my panel beater can work his magic next week and straighten her out. I've decided not to sell so new wheels are on their way from overseas and I'm looking for a overrated ke20 bonnet so that I can fit it with the te27 grill :(
-
We need to go cruising. I love your 25 and the new wheels are hot!
-
Awesome collection you have there and in beautiful condition too by the looks. Good work :hmm:

I really liked this car and think it was a bargain for $5000. When the salesman wouldn't budge on his price I was pretty upset but for $6500-$7000 I had to choose between this and the one I bought. I thought that was a bit steep considering I couldn't even test drive it but most of all the salesman was a real prick. Looks like you're doing a great job fixing her up. She's a very neat 25.

Spotted Kim's (Queen 20v) bamboo KE20 daily at work today when I went to get some lunch. I had a bit of a look and its pretty tidy
Then spotted a nice soggy note from Kim on the window of my wagon when I was leaving at 5pm lol
Cheers, Ben.
Lol. Your wagon is cool!
-
Sweeeet! Good to see she's back with her rightful master.
-
Pics would probably help. I paid $7k for mine but the paint is pretty awesome. On the whole though, the car is beautiful but not perfect. It really depends on all round condition. With only 17300 kms, she should be pretty overrated. What's the interior like? Any rust at all?

Spotted a yellow ke70 with nice wheels, low, fender mirrors in a carpark off Hogarth Road. Looks real good.
Also was crossing an intersection the other day and there was my Joansy's twin across at the other set of lights. An old couple were driving it. What a moment!

Ohhhhhh I love the photos! This was the best day ever. I loved seeing everyone's retros. You all do a great job of restoring and maintaining your cars. They are beautiful pieces of history and I'm mad about them!
