I recently brought a worked 4k from a rally car over here in the UK i have va full engine spec which reads very well with some good parts being used. Now i have already modified one 4-2-1 exhaust manifold to fit the KP30 and i'm part was through making a manifold for some bike carbs when i brought this engine. I don't really want to run the twin 40's as it will mean uprighting and that mean quite a bit of work in a KP30. What i'd like to know is this looks to me like a copy of TRD setup and if i were to sell what would the carbs both manifolds and adapter plat be worth? what i really need is a nice corolla to put them on :yes: but over here there ain't many left :yes: Simon

Hi i'm Simon from the UK, though you guys might like to see my ride: It's a 1976 toyota 1000 Kp30 The previous owner had fitted the 4K engine and done most of the engine work but then i've so far fitted: Tom's steering wheel Recaro seats from a MR2 mark 2 Sard oil pressure, water temp and oil temp gauges Omori rev counter Magnecour leads Aerospeed water catch tank Modified KP61 starlet strut brace Modified (read a days extra work at the exhaust shop) starlet 4-2-1 manifold Powerflow 2" exhaust from the manifold back. Spec when I got it was: Compomotive alloys 8x13 on the rear and 6x13 on the front Steel arch lips fitted and body work cut away where needed Lowered 4" on polysport front struts lowering blocks on rear Lightened and balanced 4K engine fitted Kent 262 cam, vernier pulley and comp valve springs Mk1 ford fiesta xr2 carb fitted I have just got a very nice 4K from a KE70 rally car that will soon be fitted as soon as possible, it looks from the spec sheet quite close to trd specs with quite allot of trd parts being used in the build. I plan to remove the twin webber 40's and run bike carbs instead. Simon :lolcry:
