Lol ok thanks guys i throught i couldent run 30psi wasent to sure how tuff these engines were for the fuel injection i was going to do some reseach into it, so on anover note this might give me a reason to get a 4agez :lolcry: and save money in the long run.

Ok I think this sounds right please correct me if I'm wrong. 5k block with 4 k crank with 4agez pistions Fuel injection will it fit on? I'm planing on running some high boost so my cr would be around 8 to 1 about 30psi might sound like over kill but hell it will be fun :lolcry: 265degree cam I think i will have to port the head to match the fuel injection? Oversized valves Ke70 jpipe for the custom turbo setup 5spd celica box behind it Hilux lsd diff does this sound about right? , Is there anything else i would have to do to handel this type of boost? :hmm: any help would be great as I'm tired of my old 5k na tuned engine.

Hey guys sorry with some more qustions..... but what can i do to my top end of my engine for more power and relible for boost? do i need some sort of special lifters to handle a stage 3 cam? any help would be good. Luke

the car might much for show was in a accdent before i brought it it still a project in the making for the jap spec remark twhat it is when dad got some parts for it he had to take tham back couse the were us and the car had jap stuff so i don't know all i know it is a jap model

well this is my 1976 toyota corolla station wagon jap spec got it of mum for 220$ its going to be a thash around car motokarner with 10months rego mods swaped my 4k to a 5k new clutch locked diff ported and polsished 5k head stage 2 cam 45mm downdraft webber Future mods shave 6kg of flywheel heavy dutey valve springs Turbo setup custom gauge setup redoing the front end to make it looks simler to a rx3 station wagon :P The first pic is with my new bonnet

Hi guys ive been reading through and ive read about the turbo setups :P and just got a few qustions I'm running a 5k engine with liltle bit of head work done stage 2 cam and a 45mm downdraft webber 1.How do i setup the carby to handel more boost? i would like to run at least 20psi 2.recomand a stage 3 cam? and ovasized valves 3.were can i find a desent set of forgie pistions 4.would extractors be better than 70ke exhaust manifold 5.what type of ignition system would run the best on a setup like this? 6.would a 3"exhust system be better than a 2"system on a turbo setup? sorry for all the qustions ive done a seach on your forum and ive got as much info as i could :no2:

yea i got the w50 box in the celica thanks mate with the info anover qustion how much comp can i get on a 5kengine can i fit a 3k head on a 5k block ive got two heads sitting at home here ones a 3k and the over it 4k with one will work the best how much should i shave and port and polish??

hey guys i own a 1976 or 1971 i think ke38-ksf toyota corolla station waggon jap spec it had a 4k in it that died so we replaced it with a 5k i just brought the car off my mum for 220$ but i would like to do it up :) with the 5k engine i don't know what type off mods to get i willing to put some mony into it as a long term project and I'm interested in how much power you can get out of these lil donks heres what i got in mind 4k head port and polished i think it mite fit on the 5k not to sure some sort of carby setup don't know how to go about it extractors with full exhust system i would like a deep note not a tin can sound cam don't know what to get and all so will my 5spd celica box fit its coming out of a 1982 celica ra60 thats about it if anyone can show some light on the subject it will be helpfull as this car is getting built as a street sleeper as you will see in a few days time when i post some pics of the old girl cheers luke
