  1. Anyone happen to know what Inlet and Exhaust sizes are for standard 4K-C? Or flow numbers :no2:  Also, what are the options for bigger valves. I may not go along this route if it is too costly though, don't wanna spend too much. Cheers
  2. Hmmm... Food for thought. I reckon you are on the right track, but instead of the Cosworth motor, I think I will go for a Top Fuel Hemi. At around $60,000 for one of these I have a bit of change left over. This will tie in nicely with the whole hemi theme as well. Will be no problems with rego either, because if I have got 8000 horsepower, if they can catch me they can have me!! Does anyone know how to stop a KE55 from twisting through 180 degrees along it's length?
  3. Thanks for the replies. I was thinking about sticking one in a KE55, I may still do a bit of a ring around wreckers/importers to gather some more info. A 2.6 litre version should almost make it through rego, maybe?!? Not too interested in making it a massive ball tearer at this stage, but I would like to make an E85 only motor (15:1 compression, alcohol carb) just so that I might be able to have my cake and eat it too! Thanks
  4. Hello all! I am just in the early planning and thinking stages for a conversion and I came across the Toyota Hemi V8. There is one on evilBay for $4500 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Toyota-Hemi-3-4L-V8...1QQcmdZViewItem , and my main question was is this a realistic price for one of these motors? I would have thought that the 1UZFe would have been more desirable and therefore the more expensive motor. Also, how common are these things these days, as I am having a lot of trouble finding info on them on the net? Do many importers carry them? Lastly, are they a very good choice of powerplant. I vaguely remember seeing one in Street Machine years ago and they said it had really small external dimensions, but that is about the extent of my knowledge of them. I hope that is not too many questions on the wrong forum, but any info would be greatly appreciated Cheers
