  1. Hi guys, Just having trouble sourcing a rebuild kit for my 4kc here in oz. Wondering if there is any company around that can supply me with rings, mains, big ends, all seals & gaskets for a stock standard freshen up to my little 1.3tr. Preferably here in Oz, as I know there are companies in the US that sell stuff for Starlets, but the amount of hoops you need to jump through & paperwork one company want is ridiculous. Most others don't post international. Any help appreciated Mark
  2. Expression of Interest in the car itself is all I wanted. I'm not Selling at this stage. Will move when I do.
  3. I wasnt sure where to put it. I wanted peoples input on the car, rather than just people looking to buy...
  4. Hi there, Thinking (very indecisivly)about selling my one of a kind, unmodified, 1982 KE70 Toyota Corolla Panelvan. After returning back from overseas, & uncovering my little car after the 12months it had not been driven, i am considering selling my pride & joy. This awesome little panelvan, I assume, must be some kind of import. I have never seen another with the "Custom Sport" logos & strips. I also don't know if this "paint" scheme came from Toyota like this, but have no idea about it. Plus a few other little indifferences I have seen with other KE70's, door handles, chrome bumpers, also the roof racks/basket, which I havent seen on any model corolla, anywhere. This car is very, very straight for its age, low kms (200,000), & minimal rust. A few dots have appeared on the passengers door, other than that I cannot see any rust above or below (which is extremely hard to find of this vintage. The paint is not show quality, but still not bad either. Has been touched up around the the odd spot by previous owner, with what looks like a paint brush. But everything above the door handles is quite schmik. I have had the windows tinted ultra dark & fitted a cd player with 7x10's in the rear door. Other than that, just regular servicing & oil changes. The car, since I have owned it, has only done about 10,000kms. Other than that, hasnt skipped a beat, except I think the battery needs repalcing after sitting for so long. This morning It passed a blue slip, save for a new pair of wiper blades, & I'm still in two minds whether I should register & keep. or sell with the blue slip. Tyres have all got loads of tread (fronts near new) on some tidy old school speedy alloys. I also replaced the original 4spd with a 5spd box. The only thing that really makes me second guess the sale is I know, I will never be able to find a car like this ever again. It is such a unique, cool little car to drive. Its hasnt got your big spoilers, loud exhausts & cut springs, but thats what I like about it. The uniqueness without the show-off factor. Just wanted to show you guys & see what you all think. If anyone has any more info on the "Custom Sport" & exactly what it is & what it may be worth?? (to the right buyer obviously) Any questions, answers or info, please reply!! Cheers, Mark ps. Not the best photos (sorry)
  5. Kool ca man & if that's u in persoanl photo, I'm saying yor car is sick

  6. Looks like a tidy 20. It will be good to see it on the road...
  7. Hey guys. First to introduce my small history with ke70's & why i love them. A few years ago a had a granny spec ke70, bog stock, immaculate inside, out & mechanically, & planned keeping it that way. Then, one morning, i don't know what happened, i clicked (got bored i guess). Cut the springs & painted it sunkist orange. Mind you, it was my first full spray job on a car, so was pretty average. Had lots of fun drifting & cruising, but had to let it go eventually, & have regretted not only selling it, but f@$king it up with dodgy shit :) . Anyway, years past & my love have grown for KE's. Ecspecially the 70's. Was after a new car recently, something new, with air & steer & all the mod cons (boring) when i saw my new baby, traded at work. 175,000km. No rust to be seen anywhere. Nice little old school mags. And the most unique looking KE pano i have ever seen. I have never seen them with full windows, or the 'custom sport' stickers runnning down the side of the car. Hw could i resist for $1000! First thing i did, was put in a Head unit & speakers for tunes. Next plan is a 5speed box. All my mates love it and I get plenty of stare & laughs in it (good ones i hope. It is kinda funny lookin in an old school way) when I'm driving it, which i love. Its an everyday driver, One which i can see myself keeping for years  . I don't wanna f@$k this one up like i did my first KE. Just wanted to know what everyone thinks?
