  1. I ended up getting them, autobahn unfortubalty do not stock that style nut
  2. Got defected out the front of my pannel store whilst getting my wheel arches done all i need is a manual ae71 tailshaft for 24 hrs to clear my defect. any one have one i can borrow for 50! I'm located in the sth east any one able to helpo a brother out?
  3. Been defected out the front of the panel store getting my wheel arches done. So she's gotta go back to stock for a bit. I brought a set of celica 14s to clear my brakes but I need the wheel nuts to suit any one have any or know where I can buy them from?? need them asap
  4. Ok i unplugged the breather hose from the rocker cover to the plenum, the idle drops to ~900 and what i thought was the clutch bearing squeel stops. little confused now.
  5. ok for lack of better words its got me f@$ked. Ive looked for leaks countless times now, with no results. I did take off the tb and resilconed it up and it droped the idle to 1200 which i was wrapped about, as soon as i touch the throttle it bounced back up to 2k and same problem with the hunt. any ideas??
  6. Thanks but i don't have tvis. idle adjustment screw is all the way in. Its sits at a constant 2k regardless of temperature, at a guestimate when there thermo cracks is when the hunt begins. Hmm this ones got me stumped, I'm going to try the carby cleaner again tomorrow
  7. I didnt actually wire it, i brought a track car and dumped everything in mine, all i did is resplice the wiring into the dash the rest bolted up really. I'm not to sure about the diagnostic plug, got a pic of one and ill have a look? Much apreciated
  8. Just tried re bleeding the coolant system... seems fine and i just upluged the tps and no difference
  9. Yeah i said it was previously blanked off and i re siliconed it to make sure. i actually thought that as well, I'm not running one atm now. I thought that it may be stuck open so i disconnected the line and blanked it off. so there is no fuel going to it at all now. I'm not running a o2 there wasnt one when i brought the motor, i have one, ive been looking to fit one bot there is no where on what i believe top be trd copy extractors to fit it. Also yeah there is a smell which that makes its way into the cabin that i can't seem to find, i know what you mean now but I'm not to sure to be honest smells rich id guess.
  10. As far as I'm aware its a stock ae92 4age. inc ecu, inj, cams etc etc. i brought another rolla and dumped it all into mine, hence i don't really have 100% knowledge on the motor. How could i tell if it 'sounds' rich or lean? There was a 044 fuel pump on stock lines and reg, which didnt make to much sense to me being a 5 bar pump, so i swaped it out for a vl pump, it was probably running rich before now i assume its allright. I also jut wired up the thermo switch proprolly. the hunt happend after i swaped the pump and wired up the switch propply threw a nc relay. It happens more specificly when the it warms up a little now.

  12. can't find a vacuum leak as such ill double check tonight. The water hoses on the t/b have been removed and blanked off with a plate previously. I pressumed this may be the issue but took the plate of, re siliconed it which gave no difference. Could the map sensor cause this?
  13. Hey all ive got a ae71 with a 4age conversion done. now I'm just ironing out all the kinks and high idle is one sits at ~2k hot or cold, onc warmed up it gets a hunt every now and again. Any ideas what this could be?
  14. Hey I'm doing a 4age and manual conversion on my ae71, ive basicly swapped everything out of my ke70 which was allready done. Now ive got to cutting out the tunnel to suit shifter position, which is no drama. i just noticed the tunnel itself is differnt in terms of how the boot would bolt up. are the shifter boots the same as per ke - ae obviously suiting the tunnel? or am i just tripping balls.
  15. Hey just woundering what your milage you guys might be getting out of a 4ac. I got a auto ae71. Stock which I brought for fuel consumption purposes to and fro around, now I'm getting ~ 350k/tank. Which imo is terrible. Whats a ball park figure I should work to achieve. I'm going to start to nut out wjats wrong with it tonight. Any sujestions would be great
