the20valveman

my car needs topping up every week. i got a 20v halfcut and got the rear main seal done and another seal. thank god. the rocker/tappet cover gasket is seeping and there is a plate that the oil filter goes on, with 3 nuts. that thing leaks onto the exhaust and when i service it/ top it up it gets smelly at a stop. maybe running it on mobil synthetic isnt helping,but if its gonna leak its gonna leak.

if i could get on this forum quick enough i would go. i take my corolla out nearly every weekend weather permitting, and would like to see some others. i would come all the time, but when i find out its tooo late. and i don't really know anyone here. next one I'm coming. if thats cool.

this is my baby.i posted a pic a while back after the 20v transplant,but since then ive had lovell springs and new shocks. Do you guys ever have cruizes or bbq's. A day for the cars to come out,have a bit of a gander and make a day of it? It would be good to see the variety of corollas. Or any events like a motorkhana or something?

Converted from carby 4af motor to a 4age 20v silvertop.Headers back- 2.5" no cat, small lukey job on the end.Awaiting suspension parts. Future plans: Aftermarket ecu and dyno tune.Oh and take the room saving rb26 air filter off,reposition battery to the rear, and put the standard airbox back on with some ducting.I still have to upgrade the brakes too.
