  1. Hey guys just thought i might stop by and show you guys my first 4AGE i have to tell you guys i am a holden owner but after hear my 4age rev out to 7,600 I'm sold i can't wait to sell my Vx and start my Corolla project, it's not this car i plan to fully rebuild a AE86 from the ground up inculding bear metal respray and a 4AGZE, anyway for now the AE82 will do so back to her i got the car off a mate for $900, it was a completly standard car expect for 276 degree cams, it wasn't idleing and was overheating when throttling harder than idle lol i replaced the radiator and took the horrible dayco themostat out and gave it a tune it was nocking badly (while bridged it was running at around 25 degrees LOL) i retarded it to 10 and now it runs perfectly except the cams haven't been tuned properly and i don't know how so ill leave it for now the doors and hatch weren't in the best shape so i swaped them over with my SOHC ones also the SOHC had the long indicators and i think they look better so i swapped over the 1/4 to (SOHC handy for parts , themostat housing, hatch, 4 doors, 2 1/4 panels, 2 plastic dash parts, a temp sender, and 2 window seals to stop the automatic window opening sindrome lol) last week i lost the clutch and after i pulled out the gearbox and replaced the clutch (it was f@$ked) put it back to together and it was still picking up off the floor, guess who didn't check the clutch fork lol well pulled the gearbox AGAIN and replaced the cracked/shattered clutch fork and problem solved (by the way if you need help to pull out your gearbox i can do it in less than an hour using monkey tools), i also just put some 17" HR racing rims i got off ebay for $122 on, a mate supplied me with some spare tyres (thanks Pablo) and i threw them on, I'm currently taking out the little bit of rust over the rear wheel arches like all corollas have http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=VL2Ec4FDjmU http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=scNXOof2JLk
