I plan on treating the car very nice for a while I'm still going to be running the borgie as well :yes: plus i havnt realy driven cars with power that are rwd so yeh.....lol The escort is ok but the ke70 makes doing somthing with the engine alot easier - might just dump a 2tr or maybe a ca18 in the escort one day.....Plus cause thats my first car and i have wasted money on it i don't want to screw it up in anyway lol Some random pics my brother has been doing some work on the engine bay :yes: aparently I'm getting it sprayed next week :yes: so i guess its worth holding off on sitting the engine and gearbox :hmm: - play on posting more pics later today once i manage to get them off a mates phone

Hehe you know old mate with the GTR with the 2 big ass HKS turbs on it :yes: and i think he had a nice clean sprinter shell as well :yes: But yes i think we are thinking of the same person was a little under a year ago now i think :yes: reminds me how long its been sitting in my garage :y: He seemed pretty clued into everything unlike me :hmm:

  7. BTW Thanks for the comments on the escort I kind of didn't exspect such a nice greeting to it lol :dance: I must say tho it is a bit of a 50m car - Looks AWESOME from a distance then when you get close you see the little in perfections :yes:

I am bit of a car noob so sorry for my stupid responses in advance :dance: Thinking a tough street car and might look at drift another time just keen to get it all in as cheap as possible as I have had the engine for way to long :yes: - don’t really plan on making the car look good at all…. The turbo manifold is a custom one that came with the engine - I forget the description I was given as to how it was made but its obviously a lot better then the Chinese crap you get off eBay...... As far as the dizzie and turbo IF I can get my hands on a engine crane for the weekend I will be sitting the engine and gearbox - I am sort of expecting clearance issues with the turbo but I wont know till I sit it all - As far as the dizzie in concerned I have no clue at this point in time lol - Does the engine have a dizzie? I plan on doing most of the ground work like sitting the engine/gearbox/tailshaft(once I get one) and getting the hydraulic clutch sorted then taking it to one of my mechanics to have it all plumbed and the wiring done as once again I'm a fair car noob :D I don't intend on making the car look good tho I have a bit of a hook up as far as painting is concerned so I might get the exterior of the car spray rather then doing a full strip down/sand/repaint ;) I really wish I had more info on the engine as I know it has lots of JDM bits but I don’t have the list any more. Overall I am exspecting a pretty angry little engine tho ;) part list is at follows(may be things missing): 4agze converted to turbo - from memory had less then 100 000 km's on it but never know lol t50 gearbox Custom Turbo manifold gt28rs Disco potato - NEVER USED Adjustable cams - unsure of what brand - HKS cam belt ;) Microtech Lt10s with ignition booster Microtech Coilpacks currently 365cc 4agze injectors - changing these to 550cc rotary injectors Have the clutch slave and master :D Some crappy front mount with crappy pipping for an AE86 Probly missing other bits :D Parts Currently needed: AE71 tailshaft AE71 Manual pedal box - minus the clutch master/slave rx7 550cc injectors some front panel lol……

I HAVE PICS ;) First off are the engine pics :D:D Engine = bigport 4agze/t50 - standard rockers to mess with peoples minds ;) The pics of the KE are crappy as they are from the post i bought it from. Have basically taken out the engine/gearbox/tailshaft since then and put in a 4a crossmember. Also fixed a bit of rust in the engine bay dodgy styles :D Oh and lastly sorry to all those ford haters - this is the car my engine WAS going to go into :dance: pics are pretty old has since been lowerd and has new bumpers and a few other little things :yes: and the airbrushing in the escort ;)

I have an answer to my question - just wanted to post below incase it is handy for anyone else - I am unable to thank the author of this information as a friend had emailed it to me :dance: So yes i can use my existing tailshaft if i change the yoke and everything should line up fine - So i am unsure where i read it couldnt be done or maybe i just confused myself cause i am definitely aware using the existing tailshaft and diff are not the best of ideas :yes:

  13. Hey all have had my engine sitting in the garage for over 6 months now. The guy i had bought it off said he had filled it with oil for storage...Just waiting to confirm i should fully drain the engine and put new oil in it before sitting it in the car........Also before reconnecting the gearbox is there anything i should do to prepare the engine/gearbox like oil/fluids etc or can i just connect the gearbox and sit the engine :y: Thanking you for your reply in advance :o

Hey all I was reading a post called one piece tailshaft which has prompted me to ask a couple of questions - I did ask them in that post but am a bit worried about hijacking it lol so ive basically copied and pasted my post from there :y: so as far as the actual tailshaft if I can get a non modded 1 piece out of a KE70 and change the yoke it will all line up and bolt in with no mods(other then the t50 yoke obviously) ? Oh and with this question I guess the same thing goes for the 2 piece tailshaft - if I change the yoke on that will it work fine with the t50 gearbox with no other mods ....... Had to edit for another stupid question the uni joint = the diff connector bit ? Sorry for the stupid questions but they have helped alot - i don't know anything about cars but have stripped the tailshaft gearbox and engine out of my car and changed it to a 4a crossmember going to dump the 4agte in this weekend and need to sus out the tailshaft - Thanks to rollaclub.com for me being able to do all of this i have tried to search for an answer to this but i seem to suck at using the search...... EDIT: heh just to confirm the reason I'm posting this is is as far as I'm aware i couldnt use the existing tailshaft till i read another post and am now a little confused
