I'd be pretty keen to come out.. If my car had a gearbox in it. Anyone got a F*#ked old AE82 box ? or something i can take the clutch fork from for cheap. Big crack where mine pivots . . sigh

I had a problem similar to this on my AE82 just after i changed the engine. Turned out there was a loose exhaust mount or somethin which was knocking against my driveshaft as i was driving. After about 2 days it got caught and ripped out. Sounded nasty and i was quite worried as i watched a small piece of steel bounce along the road in my rear view mirror, but Its been driving fine for like a month now. Guess what I'm saying is checkin that theres nothing close to your driveshafts that shouldnt be there ? Not sure if its much help, but hey, never know.

Haha, wasn't lookin for a wrecker for myself otherwise I wouldn't have used this thread, but i will remember that incase I ever need one. But ah yeah, I'm thinking that there would be endles places you get sponsorship from, just speak to bulk small specialists, muffler/exhaust places, brake specialists, I'm sure they'd have something they could bring to the table for you's.

Hmm, just assumed there was cos i see stuff about Corolla wreckers while I'm going through the quokka. Just Checked Yellow Pages online and as far as i can tell there isnt, but there is a fare few just Toyota wreckers.

Hey, know I'm new and all but was just readin this thread and was pretty intrigued by the idea and since there doesnt really seem to be any real recent posts, I'm just wonderin if i can get an update on how its going ? Also, seems the money problem keeps poppin up so i was wondering if you's had considered sponsorships or somethin like that ? Even if there just minor ones (Example; get one at a corolla wreckers and maybe score some cheap parts for it) I'm sure it'd still help out and give you some stickers to splash all over the car.
