Hi guys, Summer's coming and the missus is complaining about lack of air. I must therefore get this fixed ASAP! :yes: Over the past couple of years, the fan, when selected on (with or without aircon), is running slower and slower. Sometimes it runs so slowly that you can hear it ticking over at only a few revs a second. Slamming the recirc/fresh lever back and forth quite often makes the fan run much faster. I've mentioned this problem to Newtown Toyota and they say it's a fan problem, $800 to replace. Gasp. I have found replacement fans on the net for just over $100. My questions are: 1/ Does the problem sound like a fan issue or a electrical supply issue from say a relay and 2/ If it is a fan problem, does the quote from Newtown sound reasonable in the light of the after-market part on the net?
