  1. Id say its somewhere around 900-1000kg don't know for sure till we put it on the scales even with the power its making its should do a low 11 to a high 10 sec quarter
  2. Well it runs better than I thought it would. We had a couple minor problems with it pipe work blowing off cos I haven't bead rolled the ends and the waste gate not holding shut over 16psi So it made 287kw at 6000rpm and 17-18psi with a lot left in it once we fix a few issues Here's a shitty phone vid of the last 2 runs
  3. Thanks guy its been lots of hard work Well ive just had a phone call from Neil ITS ALIVE just trying to see if we can get it to a dyno today before it gets too hot so stay tuned shit is about to get real :bounce:
  4. Ha yeah its gone way past been a sleeper ;) So after years of work its finally off to have some life put into it. :D Next time I see it should be on the dyno some very interesting times ahead
  5. Ha cheers it was a shit load of work to make It came up pretty good considering it was the first time I've played around with carbon fiber some of the weave is a bit funny in places but you don't really notice it too much
  6. Cheers ;) Here's a few photos of the dash
  7. Well its been a while since I've done a bit of an update All the brakes/handbrake/clutch/accelerator are all working these days M800 and the motec PDM and ignition module etc are all mounted New carbon dash/crash pad and side mirrors wasn't that a headache from hell some where around 150 hours of work in total Basically the only things left are a few vac lines for the boost solenoid wastegate and blow off valve fit all the gauges and put the dash in fill with oil then off to TZEE Tuning to be wired and dyno
  8. Its been a while so here's a couple photo's its just about ready to be wired up so not long now :blinks:
  9. had to make a stainless steel coolant line to feed the back of the cylinder head and machined the turbo manifold to make sure it was perfectly flat and also machined out the injector plate to allow the an6 fitting to fit for the return line
  10. yeah I'm getting there still heaps of little things to finish off
  11. Well after a bit of debating the rocker covers are staying polish (thank god lol) spent some more time on it today got the front sway bar in and started sorting out the fuel lines in the engine bay and coolant lines for the turbo and got all the brake lines in the rear of the car finished off
  12. After some debate with neil about his rockercover if we should paint them body colour / black or polish them I gave them a quick polish to see what they look like I think we leave them polished whats everyone else's opinions on matter
  13. There's been a couple late nights tapping out every thread in the car for all the new bolts (every bolt is new) and getting everything back together so we can get the motor back in which we managed to do at 1am last night
  14. all glass and new rubbers fitted ;)
