Well i know basically nothing about cars so i have trouble knowing what's going on at all, i'm just saying what i can see is happening, nothing else seems out of the ordinary to me so i guess i'll take it in to a mechanic, sorry for wasting your time.

Saw a white ae86 driving along sexton st in tarragindi at about 4:30

Ok, when i accelerate it lags and splutters a fair bit, took it for a spin and had to reverse to turn around on a little hill, stalled 5 times before i managed to turn around =( Blowing a bit of smoke occasionally, sorry if that's still not enough, not sure what else to say haha.

So, when my ke55 is idling every so often it seems to lose power and almost stall. I'm hoping someone is going to tell me it's someone cheap and easy to fix =( Thanks.

Saw a purple i think it was...ke30 in stones corner today while driving to super cheap with JiP =P

I work till 3 every day get home around 3:30-4, but i won't have enough cash till friday/saturday.

Sweet, well if you'd be willing to give me a hand putting it in i'm sure i could chuck in some extra cash or something. That is if/when you're not busy. Also there's the problem of it having no plates and me having no license.

I'll get some pics of the seats up tomorrow. Yeah it's a 4 spd manual. I'd be really really keen on upgrading to a 5 spd seeing as i seem to have a problem with my gearbox/clutch.

Doing the work myself would pretty much be out of the question haha, i know almost nothing about all that stuff let alone pulling it apart then getting it back together, don't have any friends that know alot about it either that i know of. But thanks heaps for the advice everyone. So, anyone got a good 5spd box for a ke55 they want to get rid of cheap? =P

Pricey to fix?

Thanks man. The seats have a few little tears in them and the drivers seat is cloth, wouldn't mind finding one the same as the passenger seat to replace it with. I'm gonna take it into a mechanic tomorrow and see what i'll need to do to get it road worthy. I've got kind of a bad feeling that this noise in the clutch/gearbox is gonna end up costing me a bit... =( P.S. It even came with a free rolla club sticker =D

Ok so i got around to taking some pictures of my ke55 and a few of her problems, still working on a name for her. Dent in the bonnet. Dent in the rear end. I put my mates cars plates on it so i could take it for a little drive to try and work out what the noise it's making is.

Ok so i took it for a little spin, it doesn't make the noise that i can notice in 4th at all, and in 3rd it's not as bad as in 1st and 2nd. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I haven't listened in 4th gear yet, problem is it has no plates on it so i can't really drive it anywhere to get it to 4th... But so far it makes the same nise in first, second and third.

Is there any way i can check that without having to lift up the car and take stuff out? (Sorry for the stupidity...)

I bought my KE55 about a week ago off a friend of a friend for $300 so i figured it won't be perfect. When accelerating with the clutch out the car makes a sort of whining noise, it's kinda hard to describe. Just wondering if anyone can give me some insight into what might be wrong, someone suggested the clutch to me. I don't know all that much about mechanical stuff so i figured someone may be able to help. Thanks.

Hey all my name's Tom. I just bought a ke55 on monday for $300 with no plates so i've gotta see what i need to do to get a pink slip or whatever, it runs pretty well though and i don't think it'll need too much done to it. I'm not all that great with cars but i'm learning so please forgive my stupidity at times =P I'll get some pics up of the car when it's light out. P.S. I'm from Tarragindi
