Does much of this info apply acros the board? Got a similar problem and need for info on my ae92 4AF engined car (see the thread further down)

My clutch is going to need replaced in the next few months...maybe weeks. Just wondering what sort of cost i might be looking at and any recomended garages in Brisbane for doing it? Or is it do able with a decent set of tools and some know how (and time)> Any info on the topic of changing the clutch would be great i.e. whether to buy one myself to be fitted or let the garage handle the lot. Its a 1989 CSX Twin Cam carb engine, 5 spd. Thanks

Hey all, just wondering what kind of names you can drum up when it comes to lightweight wheels on a budget? Obviously theres the usual Rota, Gram lights etc etc more expensive stuff but I'm looking to change the heavy, wide chrome alloys that came on my corolla for something that the wee motor can spin a bit easier. any help and suggestions welcome :S

Hey people, my name's Chris I'm from the UK and I'm currently living in Brisbane. Just bought my car to last me whilst I'm here till February, a 1989 CSX hatchback. Came with some chrome wheels (will be selling methinks) and a full exhaust system. Needs some work and I'll be needing all the help and advice that I can get cos I'm really a Ford person (but ssshhh) and Toyotas are new territory for me. Hope to get to meet some of the local club members for a bit of banter soon :S First piece of info I need...is there any breakers yards in Brisbane where you cna walk in with a tool box, find a car take some parts pay at he desk and walk out again?
