I'm in the shire and drive a lifted patrol....... the *e7* is a project hated by the missus... and she drives a zze122r ?!?!?!?

sorry if I'm hi-jacking but what spring height are they, standard lows or superlows ?.. how much lower in height are all three than standard rolla springs ?... i've promised the missus to do my build on a tight arse budget (only cause she hates the car that much... and she drives a 02' conquest and loves it !!.. women :) ...)

HAHAHAHAHA) 2 days before... and their the same colour!! so short term plans are workin the 4k cam, carb and pipe to eventually make room for an upgrade... am leanin to old skool of a worked 7k all polished n stuff a mate of mine has offered to do a full sr20 conversion for 5g's BBUUUUUTTTTTT I'm gonna do this on a budget as i gotta few other projects goin as well.. here's a few pici's

my engine choice (at the moment) is to turf the 4k and squish in a 7k but its known as not being a revy motor which doesnt bother me much cause i like torqe but i do want to cam it up so it will rev a bit more than standard.. the question is does anyone make cams for them?? i know wade cams does 4k & 5k motors but is that interchangable with the 7k or does he actually do cams for the 7k or am i wasting my time? i will put on twin webbers and a proper set of pipes too when funds permit..

HA !! been stung like that before on an old dato thanks to my brother in law "just reef it she'll be right" :cool: fitted it up sarvo fits beautifully... perfect steering distance for control just needed to drill the locator holes a bit for the indicator thingy to hook into... looks sweet too i'll post a pic soon..

ok then, was playing in the shed with my new toy and took off the steering wheel as i have an after market wooden one with boss kit i used to have on my 4runner and thought what the heck see what it would look like... bugger me it fitted !! :dance: i thought the spline on the rolla would be smaller but turns out it aint... just the plastic indicator cancel thingy doesnt locate properly its just a bit off but a small drill bit can sort that out... is this not a good idea and should i get an actual ke70 boss kit or is the 4runner/hilux boss kit fine to use?? i have done a search but came up with nothin but my choice of motor upgrade>> :cool:
