  2. Well although it still seems a little off it appears to have righted itself...I'm guessing it just needed a bit to wear itself in and get the parts moving in place. thnks guys
  3. Nah angle grinders faster :D well i will be having a crack at it tomorow with the heat gun, got a bit of a diff problem at the moment so tackling that too.

  5. Hey guys, Thinking of removing the rubber strips on my 55 just wondering if there is a way to make it quick clean and easy, which seems to be a rare event at the best of times working on rollas lol cheers sorry, should have elaborated a little more, the rubber strips running along the doors on the sides
  6. Hi all, Well after destroying the diff in my ke55 i found myself with the need to pull the diff out of my ke30...it all seemed well and simple to my brain and everything went along with only a few minor bumps and i got a few other things fixed while i was tinkering around yay!! So driving along once the new diff is in, everything seems to be all well and good, but i had this dawning realisation that the red rocket isnt changing out of 2nd unless i go past 70 and kicks back into 2nd by itself rather harshly as soon as i slow below 60...this is as far as my knowledge of diffs and gear ratios goes as I'm learning the corollas as i go along. I'm hoping someone with more experience on here can help...ive pulled the diff out of a 3spd auto ke30 and into a 3 spd auto ke55 only differences being ke30 is a 3k and ke55 is a 4k. i for one am stumped and my dads advice was to buy a real car :D thanks in advance
