Ke70 Problems??

Hey,

 

Just curious if anyone knows where Id find rust on a KE70 and whats not repairable, and if theres any other hidden problems I don't know about the car in general yet lol.

I'm trying my hardest to buy a KE70 at the moment and not having much luck but I have found one to look at tomorrow.

 

I'm after one for a 4A-GE conversion and just to do up and tinker with in general

Wheel arches are prone to rust and behind mud flaps, In the doors down low, In the spare tire well and just mainly check where you think water or leaves and crap would build up.

Most rust is from the wheel arches back, the back of mine is nearly falling off :)

Yep thats exactly where it had it all, and a nice coat of mud to compliment it. Thanks :)

Around the fuel filler.... also check ALL the body seams inside the doors, especially the front A pillars and near the hinges. I've also seen it in engine bay along seams in the firewall.
