Ke55 Tail Lights

i've currently got the standard taillights on my '80 ke55 hardtop, and was wondering if the sedan lights of the earlier model ke55 sedan (the ones with the round reversing light and red reflector) will be a straight swap?? if not, what will i need to modify to make them fit?

Nope, they will fall through the hole. You'd need to weld up the hole and cut out a new one to make the sedan ones fit.

 

Don't bother in my opinion.

 

Go the square headlight ones instead.

hmm, the lights on your red hardtop jip, will they go straight into the square headlight model hardtop?

Yep, all early/late tail lights are interchangable.
