VHR32 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Hi guys, I need to see if anyone can look at their 4A-GE timing belt idler bearing and see if there is a dowell on the bottom of the bracket to help it locate. The dowell fits into the block apparently. Or can someone take a close up pic of one please that would be sweet. cheers. Quote
cuzzo Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 (edited) This is the best picture i can get out of the 4age manual, if you go to toyota they should be able to find it on their electronics parts catalogue. Third picture down. The thing just above the crank pulley. Edited October 16, 2007 by cuzzo Quote
VHR32 Posted October 17, 2007 Author Report Posted October 17, 2007 thanks. I am a Toyota parts interpreter. I had a customer try and tell me he is missing a dowell which locates the bottom of his idler pulley bracket but I can't find it on the EPC and the bearings don't come with it. I was just trying to see if anyone else had heard of it. Quote
