Beejae82 Posted November 13, 2007 Report Posted November 13, 2007 how much play should be in the threaded rod? i have my master cylinder out at the moment to fix my problems and i need to know how much play it should have it has about an inch until it starts to push the springs and feed the fluid through the lines. do i make any sense. Should the rod be tight when it is fully extended? Theres like 4 springs of different sizes wound together in the end of the cylinder and i need to sort the bastards out. any help would be great. AE93 SX if that matters Quote
Beejae82 Posted November 13, 2007 Author Report Posted November 13, 2007 (edited) I'm now thinking that there should only be one spring that keeps it tight without any play in the rod, maybe somehow this one has snapped numerous times or been fixed up in a dodgey way Edited November 13, 2007 by Beejae82 Quote
