Philbo Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 Hey, I've been looking at different stock toyota upgrades, and came across the 17mm tercel rear swaybar upgrade. This got me wondering, does the tercel have a borgy like E7s? Searching on tercel4wd/google, i found hints that the tercel has a T series diff, so I was interested to know if this is a viable upgrade option, like the T18 diff. 7shades Posted January 5, 2008 Report Share Posted January 5, 2008 I've had a few AL25 turtles. Its not a borgwarner, but not a T either. Its a Y series (302) which is a 158mm crown wheel and 3.727 ratio. Not much good as a performance upgrade but much harder to break than a borgwarner which to the best of my knowledge is made entirely from balsawood and papier mache.
