jdm180 Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 Hey guys, I'm a bit new to the toyota scene. I've picked up a cheap KE70 to build a cheap skidder/slider out of. Got a few questions about parts & modifications etc Can the stock diff be welded up & reliably spin wheels without constantly snapping axles/smashing centres? Or should i upgrade to something bigger? Will a 1.3L hi-cam motor running a weber carby & extractors produce enough power to spin 1st & maybe 2nd gear through corners? I've heard of people using cut falcon springs in the stock suspension struts to achieve a stiff ride? Can anyone elaborate? Any help/links would be appreciated! Alex Quote
