DR1FT Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Hey all i have a 79 ke55 rolla, sometimes it wont start, i have replaced the starter motor, bought a new reconditioned one... changed battery cable to starter, checked all my grounds they seem okay. . sometimes it will start and sometimes it wont, went too try just then and nothing i have all my stereo and eveything, car also has an immobiliser but its only when the weather is hot and the car gets hot just sitting there???? Is there anthing i can check that i havent done? CHeers Josh Quote
sammo[RL] Posted February 21, 2008 Report Posted February 21, 2008 Try and find the starter relay, not sure where it is on a 55, but on a 30 its behind the drivers side kick panel, mite need to replace. try and bypass the immobiliser and see if that works, if so get a new one. last check the switch, ie where the key goes in...
