  1. 1987 Holden VL Berlina - with rego. Has rb25 engine number on the rego slip. RB25DET 5speed, using rb25det box. Engine has had the 100ks, not sure on exact K's of motor. Was told it would be around 110,000ks now. I have quite a receipts for the work done, including the head gasket work, 100ks service, tune and dyno runs plus a whole heap from replacment parts. ( headlights, taillights, interior peices etc ) The dash has stopped at 105 ***ks (series 2 dash) HKS Bar Boost gauge HSV Pedal set ACL Gasket kit, using 1.3 metal HG. New Belts, fresh fluids/filter Front mount intercooler. Full custom 3" Exhaust HKS Mushroom filter. VLT Ally rad Manual Boost Controller, been running at around 9psi since i bought the car. Dyno run shows 190kw, tuned by TurboTune 4.11 LSD - brand new gearset still being run in Koni rear shocks Kings super low springs, Re-set 35mm lower Pedders adjustable panhard bar Front strut assembly using pedders (short stroke) inserts, with King Ultra lows. Had a heap of bushes that needed replaceing redone with Superpros - have receipts for work AC Delco 180LPH in-tank pump Wahlbro external pump The car is not perfect, but still in great condition for its age. Was resprayed back in 07 in Passion Red, still looks great. Has a few little scratches here and there. The steering sometimes has a bit of a shutter when coming to full lock. There is also a small hole right in the top of the fuel tank, previous owner said he tryed to mount his amp through it or something, there is a screw in there from him, seems to keep pretty much most of it in there. Engine has had the 100ks service done about a 4 months ago, not sure on exact K's of motor. Was told it would be around 100,000ks now. The dash has stoped at 105 ***ks (series 2 dash) The interior is in pretty good nic, has formula headrest, HKS boost guage, VX GTS Pedal set. ACL Gasket kit, using 1.3 metal HG. service, new coolant temp sensor, oil filter/oil etc done at the same time. Front mount intercooler. Full 3" Exhaust. HKS Mushroom filter. Manual Boost Controller, been running at around 9psi since i bought the car. Dyno run shows 190kw, tuned by TurboTune around 3months ago. 4.11 LSD with re-built calipers and new DBA slotted rotors - starting to whine abit. Koni adjustable rear shocks Kings super low springs, Re-set 35mm lower Pedders adjustable panhard bar Had all the bushes that needed replaceing redone with Superpros last week. front strut assembly with pedders (short stroke) inserts, with King Ultra lows. AC Delco 180LPH in-tank pump wahlbro external pump Car is rolling on 15x7 ceptors, i was told two have been profensionally winded, the rear two have a few marks on em, where just spare 7" wide that a mate had laying around. Front tires are still almost brand spankas, rear are still in good nic I'm sure theres more, if you have a quick sus at thread below you can see most of the parts from one of the previous owners. The car is not perfect, the radiator will need replacing aventully ( no overheating what so ever atm ) the core is getting abit ****ty thats all. The steering rack has a slight bit of play where it joins to the tie rod or something makes a slight knock everynow and again, only found this out when i was having the bushes done on friday. One of the fan belts make a squel on startup on cold morning, was going to do these when i done the radiator, but the radiator is still working fine.   4. going from a clock tash to a tacho dash, just wondering is it just a simple swap over? Had a search couldnt find anything.
  5. actually worked alright, cleared some of the dirt n shit on the pads
  6. thinkin it maybe dirt or something built up on the pad, sprayed wd40 over the disk and hand spun it round and the noise is a bit quiter bit its still there. Gonna remove the pads and have a proper look on the weekend i rekon.

  8. yeah mine just blew in my rolla bro, just give it a good yank and it will come out, most likely has a tad bit of rust/gunk holding it in there man
  9. don't really no much about brakes man, gonna jack it up take the caliper off and remove pad again and sus around see if i can find anything.

I'm having a similar problem in my ke70, I'm using 86 struts and just changed my pads over and bleed the brakes, all clean oil was coming out etc. But now my Front left pad is still rubbing on the disk, was thinking maybe new pads still bedding them selves in? Is there anything i can have a sus at without having to pull everything apart?
  11. So can Cut falcon springs be used with 86 struts? Been searching with no clear answer to what model falcon and if it can be done.
  12. pretty sure my mate is running two front and two rears in his 70 bro. you wouldnt no if el's fit into 86 struts would ya?
  13. my front setup is pretty stiff, the rear is pretty sloppy. Nah he got the springs from a wrecker out of a EL Falcon so thinking of trying the same and just cutting them to a daily height, will still be low just not as much. don't have a project thread yet man, trying to get parts sorted out for it still.
