TOM Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Hello all, My late/slant front '84 KE70 wagon seems to have much more leg room than my flat front '82 KE70 sedan... I notice because I'm 6'2" - the sedan has a sports wheel and I still feel cramped up, where the wagon with the standard wheel seems to have heaps of leg room. The wagon also has a tighter turning circle. Is this a difference between sedans and wagons or early/late KE70's? If so is it possible to fit the different seat rails to my sedan to give me more leg room? Just one more click back would be awesome :jamie: Any knowledge appreciated :hmm: Quote
chrisandliz[RL] Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 hiya, I have an ke70 late model. I had standard seats and it was cramped, but the ae71 spirit seats are much better (for me any way). they are much lower and go back more. Is the early model an auto? I have found the odd ball bearing steering in autos. would make a world of diffrents. Chris Quote
TOM Posted March 12, 2008 Author Report Posted March 12, 2008 Thanks Chris, Nah they're both standard 5-speeds, both have what I believe to be standard seats... I guess i can take the seats out of both and have a play one day, see whether its the rails or the seats that are different... That is if there really is a difference and i'm not just imagining it Quote
7shades Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 There is a difference in seats.... it depends more on the trim level rather than the year model. If memory serves correct, the ones with the fore/aft adjuster on the front (as opposed to the lever on the side) go back further. Quote
TOM Posted March 13, 2008 Author Report Posted March 13, 2008 Is there anything you don't know about E7* rolla's 7shades? I reckon you may be right - the wagon has the front adjuster and the sedan the one on the side. Thankyou again for your wealth of knowledge! Quote
7shades Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 I've owned quite a few. I have an encyclopeadic knowledge of all things completely useless and irrelevant. Ask me what the longest recorded flight of a chicken is.... I dare you Quote
TOM Posted March 13, 2008 Author Report Posted March 13, 2008 (edited) Haha couldn't resist a quick google search... surely you didn't actually know this did you? What was the world's longest chicken flight? Before we get to the record, here is some chicken trivia: A chicken moves at about 9 MPH. Uneaten, a chicken can live 8 years. The fear of chickens is called Alektorophobia. Now for the record. The world's longest flight of a chicken that has been recorded is 13 seconds. The world's longest distance flight of a chicken that has be recorded is 301 1/2 feet. Colonel Sanders would have been proud. Edited March 13, 2008 by TOM Quote
7shades Posted March 13, 2008 Report Posted March 13, 2008 Scarily enough, I actually did. *sigh* Quote
