LilSlvrRolla Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 Hey, Just wondering what adjustable panhard rods people fit after lowering a KE70. I'd imagine this has been asked before. Whiteline have an adjustable one for the AE86, but I have no idea if it would be a "bolt on" part. I'd be looking at gettin the most economical one in their range. Really just want a "bolt on" part because I don't want to cut up the old one. Also how much adjustment do I need, the cars going down 2 1/2" Are the Whiteline options a good idea or is there better out there? Thanks very much, Ethan Quote
tas_ae71 Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 whiteline are run of the mill, nothing exceptionally special. there are better but as you said you don't want to pay the earth. get a wheel aligner to set it for you. yes ae86 is the same, the back end susy is the same. so rear springs and shocks are also interchangeable between the two. just a tip use search function before shooting up a question, if you search it maynot answer all your questions but atleast you wont be shut down for it :D there are several thread on www.ae86drivingclub.com in the technical section. that should answer any more of your suspension questions including where to get shorter stroke shocks etc... Are there any particular items out there you would recomend? Yeah I do quite a bit of searching first, I've seen quite a few questions out there end in tears lol. At least I found the right shocks in the end haha. Thanks Edited April 10, 2008 by LilSlvrRolla Quote

Thanks very much, Ethan I did some research on this a looong time ago, and with the geometry of a 70, one shouldn't need an adjustable swaybar. Quote

Redwarf Posted April 10, 2008 Report Posted April 10, 2008 I'm glad you asked! :D Have a look here: http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?s...c=675&st=45 and maybe the page before as well. Disclaimer: I don't own a 70, nor have I ever, nor am I likely to. This was purely speculating, but I still think my calculations are good. Quote

Might have to go have a measure tommorow lol :D That will give me something to think about. Thanks Quote
