Vacuum Hose Schematic

Hi all,

 

My son has bought an AE71 sedan and we were trying to give it a tune up, but the vacuum advance on the dizzy dosen't seem to be working, there is no difference with the hose conected or disconnected-no rev change.

I was wandering if anyone had a schematic or a diagram of the vacuum or polution system so we might be able to find out what the problem could be or maybe some advise.

hey mate, i don't have a schematic for a 4ac, unfortunately. and the ones in the faq are both for 4kc's aswell.

but, at the end of the day, you really only need the vaccuum advance and the charcoal cannister hooked up.

 

so run two tubes that you are sure arnt blocked from the carb. one to the vac advance and one to the charcoal cannister.

then just make the rest look good, and use 1 way valves the wrong way to stop them from doing anything.or push ball bearings into them...
