demuire Posted January 8, 2005 Report Posted January 8, 2005 I'm mucking around with the Selby's adjustable swaybar that I have at the moment, and am trying to figure out which way gets stiffer and which way gets softer... On a normal swaybar, it's simple, the front bushes merely locate the bar (pivot) and the end bits torque the bar, so the further away the ends are from the pivot, the "softer" the bar is... The bar I have attaches to the radius rods. So one set of bushes near the ends, snd one set of bushes near the pivot. Does the same theory apply? That the closer together I put the bushes then the stiffer the bar will be? Or is it the opposite? Does it matter how near the ends I put the bushes? Quote
