  1. http://blog.modernmechanix.com/2008/10/01/...tional-vehicle/ Funky :D
  2. Will have to see how I travel. If I do come it won't be in the Corolla as the Corolla is on conditional rego so I can't drive that far
  3. Wow, so many more things to do. Surprised about the ball joints etc, I thought everything on this car was new? Hope you get the brakes etc sorted out soon. And $17/hour? Wow, I would have thought people in the automotive trade would earn more than that - is that a "normal" wage? Hell I'd pay you more (tax free :)), wanna come and diagnose some silly problems on my car? :)
  4. Yeah, that'll certainly loosen the LSD up. It sure has on mine!
  5. Keep the LSD. Open centers suck, and with the extra power you'll certainly not want an open center or you'll spend half your time single spinning and not going anywhere in a hurry.
  6. Gone to a good home :(
  7. Cool, so they're 4K plugs. Next question: Does anyone want them? Free to a good home.
  8. I've found a set of these in one of my boxes - are these for a 4K? Or 4AGE? Did a quick look around the web and it looks like it's for a 4A, but from memory my 4AGE took iridium plugs (or something to that effect)?
  9. Very nice :( What's the yellow sticker under the hood say? IMO exhaust spoils the look of the car though, I recon a less riceboy looking one would suit better...
  10. Well done, it looks great :( Can't wait to see it on "proper" wheels :)
  11. You could build a great big carport like I did :P
  12. On a similar note - is the RWD 4AGE starter motor interchangeable with the 4AC (AE71) starter motor? Or any other starter motor?
  13. Happy belated birthday :) Nice wheels, and LOVE the stocko airbox :lolcry:
  14. Teddy: Before you install that headlight reminder kit, Supercrap have an auto-headlight module thing now, I think it was like $25 or $35 or something - whatever it was, it wasn't very expensive. Has a light sensor and everything, turns your headlights on when it gets dark  If my Camry didn't already have something similar (well, it's not a light sensor but it turns headlights off when you park so you never leave the headlights on by accident) I'd get one :o
  15. TRD made mirrors? How are they different to non-TRD ones? Nice work :P
  16. Interesting bodykit. Certainly not a fan of the front splitter (I think it's too bulky), but the rear spoiler I think suits the car. It certainly has that "80's boxy muscle car" look :y: Very neat and tidy anyway :P
  17. I would assume you mean "cooling" when you say "colling"? Do they have any solutions to the dizzy location?
  18. Remove front drive shafts, and voila - RWD Corolla
  19. Driving around the yard? Careful now, you're getting the underside of the car dirty :P Good stuff :no2:
  20. A bit late now, but if the 330ci is like the BMW 1 series (and it most probably is), it has 2 stages of traction control. Just pressing the ASC (or whatever it's called) button switches half of it off. If you want it to go completely off you have to hold the button down for like 5 seconds. And yes, considering how hard the 130i goes, I'm sure the 330ci also goes rather hard :) *gloat* I get to run around in this this weekend :D
  21. Well that's certainly different. Why the red stripe? The car is blue? Just something different? Also, should have reshaped the seat bottom a bit to be more "bucket"-like :D Anyways, sure beats the original seats ;)
  22. That's a TE31 (not a KE30). As for whether the fronts swap over, I would suspect so (or it wouldn't be far off), but I can't confirm.
  23. Ouch :D That's a pretty decent hit, how on earth did it push the front guard in so far but leave the wheel intact???
  24. But... they pay for their plates EVERY YEAR. ie, they pay for the use of their plates, we pay for the actual plates themselves... Queensland FTW.
